Located in the Northern Hemisphere the weather of the land is moderated by both large jet streams (polar and subtropical). The largest comes up from the south and moves along both the western and southern coasts bringing with it warm summers and wet springs. The polar stream is far more variable only changing weather patterns during the deep part of winters south of the Iron Mountains.
