Ortwin

Before his death in Y462 AH, Ortwin of Fulda was the Hochwürden at the Grand Cathedral in the city of Bornheim. He was a passionate speaker and delivered scathing sermons from the pulpit. He condemned those who murdered, stole, or sinned against the fellow men. He opposed any intermingling between the righteous humans and the other races. He did not damn the others, but felt too much contact with other races often led man from the righteous path.

Although Ortwin was not tall of stature, actually being a bit shorter and rather stout. His voice and mannerisms tended to carry any room. He was capable of delivering scathing oratory against the sinners and even those pure of heart were often the focus of his critical eye. He challenged everyone, including himself, to do better this day than they did in days past. He did not just talk the talk, but he walked that path each and every day.

In Y425 AH he was promoted to the position of Hochwürden and tasked with overseeing the cathedral in Bornheim.

In Y462 AH he was assassinated during a birthday celebration for Baron Donat Lange, Lord Marshal of Bornheim. He was in the home of Countess Beatrice Hapsteng when seemingly possessed assassins attacked the celebration. It was clear he was their target; although they killed several other lesser dignitaries.
