Donat Lange

Lord Marshall of Bornheim

The youngest male heir of the storied Lange noble family, Donat was named to the position of Lord Marshall for Bornheim by Queen Aurora I in 457 AH. The position had been open for several years, requiring Lord Donat to spend his first two (2) years remind the local bornheimers of their fealty to the throne. This was made for difficult by the arrival of Countess Beatrice Hapsteng in 460. The two have quietly clashed over his handling of the local population.

The Lord Marshall is not a man to inspire his men to great things, nor is he an accomplished administrator or orator. He received this position simply on the political clout of his father and their family's strong backing of the Queen. He is over his head and knows it. Most days he tries his best to simply keep the city from descending into civil war in the streets.
