Daemon McGorath

Daemon is a tall man with flaming red hair and brilliant green eyes. He is very clearly of human stock, probably with Dakarian history from his rather pale skin. He speaks with a commandingly deep voice more attuned to shouting orders over a pitching battlefield. This leaves most people standing away form him when he is speaking. Everything about the way he carries himself represents a wolf moving amoung the sheep. Daemon's aura will represent that of a warrior streaked with the taint of a butcher. Although, he usually refrains from murdering those who cannot defend themselves - he has burned more than one village to the ground for a suspected slight.

Daemon took his forces and drove for the north. Following the fable of a city bedecked in silver and gold hidden by eternal mists. Instead, he found the city of High Mist nestled in a large valley - surviving on trade for those things not mined from the hills. His forces swept down, killing anyone that stood in their way. He has now set himself up as High Lord of the entire area. From this town he located a small temple to Vayne, guarded by a single old man. Although the man killed several of his troops he was eventually struck down. Daemon has looted the shrine of its artifacts for his own keeping. More importantly, he has dug up the graves of those entombed there and is using their ash to keep the forge fires burning. Erie green smoke arises from the smithy in the heart of the city as it creates weapons dedicated to Danshi. The most powerful of these have been gifts to the other commanders.

Deamon loves personal combat and still trains regularly with his troops. His one blind spot is his disdain for missileers of any sorts. He keeps spellcasters around for necessity, but he insists they learn to at least wield a weapon of some sort. In combat Daemon prefers to meet his challenges in hand-to-hand combat. None of his ensorcelled items enhance his abilities in any way. Instead, he uses items that reduce the 'cowardly' attacks of his opponents.

Battleheart is the name he has given his sword. Its a longsword of above average quality that he has owned since his time with the Reavers.

Spellslayer, his only shield, was crafted for him by the first wizard he called friend. Made from part Seldane and part Magesilver, it functions like a medium round shield. However, when defending against directed magic, its true power comes to light. Most magic spells are absorbed into is murky depths. The design on the shield depicts a black serpent over a green swamp.

Daemon was the third son of a miller in a small village just barely outside of Krandryia. He was well known in his village for his temper and violent outbreaks. When he came of age, his father bought him supplies enough for a few months, and sent him to a friend's house in the next largest city. Before he got there, he fell in with men who turned out to be bandits. He gladly joined into banditry, a stable job like his father had planned for him was a fate to be avoided. After being a bandit in the area for several years, he was recruited by the reavers. Since then, he has been the model of their creed, avarice and violence without restraint.
