Tazeed

Tazeed is a Jinn that was summoned by Ulfur, vizer to Sultan Abob, and bound him to a twisted wooden flute. Although he can appear as anyone he prefers the style of Ulfur, who first bound him. Over the years he has become fond of humanity as a master to his pets, but he would sacrifice all of them for his freedom. This land is not his land and he seeks his return.

Tazeed was summoned to this world by Ulfur, vizer to Sultan Abob, and bound him to a twisted wooden flute. The Sultan got his first wish, but then passed the flute to Korlin, to whom he owed a life debt. Korlin traveled to Ellendar to study the legends of a great working by the True Elves in the region. He discovered a great prison at Tminir Tower and that was his downfall.

Korlin then summoned Tazeed and used the second wish. He would have been killed by a Contract Demon called Charles, but Tazeed created a place in the world where time moved slowly. An instead within this space took hundreds of years. Charles was trapped within the prison and Korlin is trapped in amber. Tazeed fled with his flute, but lost it somewhere in the Rakarian Valley.

Tazeed has searched this valley for his flute. Only by using the third and final wish or destroying the flute can he return home.

In the Dakarian Insurrection campaign Tazeed was working with the wielder of the Bloodstaff to destroy the prison.
