Reiner II

When Reiner II was crowed he represented the first hereditary transfer of power in Daconian history and it was not without difficulties. While his father, Reiner I gave large swaths of land to his most trusted allies, support among the Daconians is given to the person and not the lineage. This was made more difficult because his father died while on campaign, which left him with little personal. The house, and possibly all of the Kingdom of Dakar would have fallen if not for the strength of his mother.
