Order of the Crown

The Most Honorable Order of the Crown is an order of chivalry associated with the Kingdom of Dakar. The order was founded by Queen Aurora I of Dakar. Membership is limited to bachelor knights, maidens of good standing, the Sovereign of Dakar, and priests of the Temple of Light.

Queen Aurora created the Order of the Crown to recognize service to the crown surpasses service to self.

Members of the Order must forgo the taking of a husband or wife and dedicate themselves to the Kingdom of Dakar. They must be from good families of acceptable social standing.

The sovereign may dismiss any member of the order. Any knight or maiden that marries is dismissed from the order.

A silver medallion on a red leather strap is worn around the next when appropriate. The medallion may also be pinned to the chest or secured on a bracer on the left arm. A knight may have the insignia emblazoned on their shield in the upper-left corner.

When engaged in matters of the order, a member is expected to wear a red cloak trimmed with white fur with the medallion serving as the cloak pin.

Upon the circular medallion is sickle and a sheaf of wheat. Along the top are the words, Honor before All.
