Stunts

See Also: Open Stunts, Power Stunts, Racial Stunts

A stunt is a way to differentiate a character - to give them a bonus (typically +1 or +2) or a different ability during a given situation. Stunts most often apply to skills and are either open or restricted (racial, occupational, power, etc). Open stunts are available to anyone, while restricted stunts must have a character aspects that allows them to purchase a stunt. All stunts cost 1 refresh for a character to purchase and may have other prerequisites that must be met. Most stunts can be used simply by applying them, but very powerful stunts may require the use of a Fate Point to activate.

Each stunt can only be taken one time by a characters. Stunts that are Italics can be purchased multiple times.

Armor Training

This stunt gives armor is own stress track. Each time this stunt is selected armor gets +1 stress, which functions exactly like character stress; except that it does not “heal” at the end of the scene. This stress is repaired in the same manner as other objects.
