Minotaur

The Minotaur (/ˈmaɪnətɔː/, /ˈmɪnəˌtɔːr/; plural: Minotaurs) was a creature with the head of a bull and the body of a man. The creature often dwells at the center of complex labyrinths or caves, which which they often dig out into elaborate maze-like construction. Although having the body of a man, a minotaur typically does not posses its intellect. Some very rare minotaurs can master human speech and at least one legend speaks on one that walked among men as a man.

Some scholars believe that minotaurs arose from a curse laid upon the Centaur by some long-dead wizard, the centaurs find this disgusting and punish any that repeat this blasphemy.
