Sturmwall

This is the Royal Palace in the city of Bornheim. The largest building within the courtyard is a two story stone Manor House that is the principal residence of the Lord Marshall of Bornheim, currently Lord Donat Lange. There is also a stable, smithy, barracks, chapel, and three storage sheds. The wall around the palace is 10 meters tall, 4 meters thick, and protected by towers. A large gatehouse along the southeast wall is the one way through the wall.

The palace sits upon land that is nearly 200 meters above the bay, allowing the large catapults to destroy any attackers. As long as the cliffs were held, the city has never been taken by force. The palace sits along the northwest edge of the cliff within the Palace District of the city. The cellars of the palace are cut into the rock and rumored to have secret stairs go to the shoreline of the bay.
