Abjurer Mountains

The Abjurer Mountains is the longest continental mountain range found anywhere on Miranda. It is a continual range of highlands along the eastern coast of Aquanius. The range is over 8,000 km long and between 300 to 700 km wide. The average height of the mountains is about 3,500 m.

The Abjurer Mountains were formed by Plate tectonics which pushed the Maritic Ocean plates beneath the Aquanius plate. The western edge is bounded by several large Sedimentary basins which divide the Abjurer from the western coast - the eastern edge is at the Maritic.
