Nar-dök

Nar-dök was punished for creating the sithara in the image of the serpentmen that made war against the gods in the name of the devils. Banished to the Twilight Realms where he must steer the boat that plys the River of Gold in search of souls that have escaped from the ulag. Those souls caught by Nar-dök will be returned to the ulag when they have served their time aboard his ship, Helenus.

Helenus, The Red Ship

Helenus is made of stout ash planks stained red with the evil of the souls that work the ship. Without wind for the sails or a current to work the haul, the ship moves only from the one thousand oarsmen forever chained below. The souls that work the ship are those far to evil for even the ulag to hold, this ship is their last chance to save themselves from the underworld.

Blood Forest

Legends say that it is possible for a soul to appease Nar-dök and convince him to take them a ship's landing at the edge of the Blood Forest. From this landing there is a stone path that will eventually guide a spirit back into the world of miranda. However, the forest is said to be hungry for souls and the path itself enchanted so that the journey is nearly impossible. The only person know to have survived the path is when Gustav returned after having been banished to the ulag by Byrne.
