Sir Alexander of Dakar was a prominent knight during the Expansionist Period of the Kingdom of Dakar. Known as the Pale Knight he earned his reputation and knighthood hunting werewolves. Werewolves killed his parents and siblings while he was a squire for Sir Aütrhand. He swore his vengeance upon those foul creatures in short order he earned his knighthood into the Order of the Wan, a group dedicated to destroying all weres.
He was a moderately skilled rider, but excelled with mace and shield. He personally killed over two score werewolves in personal combat, trusting in his faith to protect him from their madness.
In 1104 Sir Alexander was named the bailiff of Jankeep, a small keep near the Candleberm Mines. It was a simple position, but one with some prominence from its rich coal veins. He served as an able bailiff and when he retired the lord named his son Sir Roland as the new bailiff.
