Captain of the Guard in Ulrichstein
Adalfuns is the Captain of the Guard in the town of Ulrichstein. A common farmer he gained his position after solid leadership during the goblin incursion from 453-458 AH. His family now holds several acres of lands both useful for logging and farming. Although not noble, he is respected by several of the knights at court.
Once a farmer with only a small free holding land he eventually came to command the town militia spearmen. In 453 AH he led his men on a double-time charge to scatter goblins that had pinned Baron Tobias Kuhn against an unfordable section of the Aland River. For his bravery he was given a position within the keep guard. His skill and staunch leadership gained him the position of Captain of the Guard by 460.
