The magi are humanoids that were created by the Sha’rek’ta and taught how to manipulate essence. These immortals have far outlived their creators and see themselves as the true caretakers of the Dominion of Miranda. They were driven off this dominion by the gods, who themselves had to retreat when their interference nearly destroyed everything.
