Bend Lake is a 900-acre (3.6 km{sup>2</sup>) lake along the northern border of the Free Cities. Originally the lake was less than half its current size, but in Y1469 the Irillian Army damned the Vitale River. The area watershed not only feeds Bend Lake, but the Ivir River as well.
