Ivir River

Stretching over 250-km-long (155 miles) the Ivir River is one of the major rivers that drains into the Kilouliki Marsh. The river rises south of Bend Lake and generally flows northeast to south. The Ivir River is several feet deep with a thick silty bottom. Even during the driest seasons their is sufficient water to navigate using shallow draft boats.

The Ivir River is the most important river that flows into the Kilouliki Marsh.

The Tibbs River is a major tributary of the Ivir River. Downriver of the confluence of these two rivers, the Ivir River flows nearly straight south until it empties into the Kilouliki Marsh.
