+In the winter of 462 [[lore:AH]] he was battling a demon in a summoning chamber below [[atlas:Tminir Tower]] when he fell to the creature. The demon drained all of his magic from his body - tore apart his connection to the [[lore:Shadow Realms]]. This completely removed everything that still remained shoag within him, he can never go back. If not for [[people:Gia Sojourner]] he would have died. Only the spark of the [[creatures:Ifrit]] kept him alive.
