The Twilight Plane is a Primal Plane that connects the Divine Realms to the Mortal Plane of the Shadow Realms. This plane was created by several of the gods within the temple_of_light; although it is solely maintained by Taur.
There are two demiplanes within the Twilight Land. Each one can only be entered by passing through the Gate of Judgment.
This is the paradise spoken about by the priests of The Light where those judged worthy will spend their eternity. Any spirit that comes before Taur to be judged that he finds worthy can stay within Ishranna until they are either claimed by another god or the spirit accepts their finality and becomes one with the Shadow Realms.
Taur does not allow all of the gods to retrieve the souls of their followers. The gods must send a representative before Taur to petition for the spirit's release from its judgment.
Those spirits that are not judged to be worthy are cast into the Ulag where they spend their eternity. The Ulag is a demiplane of pain and suffering. The spirits in here are shackled and unable to pass unto their final destination. This is not a place of grace or mercy, but of justice. Justice that was denied on the Mortal Plane.
