Stonecarver with a Secret

Yswa, from outward appearances, is a highly skilled Stonecarver that lives in the village of Kernwerk northeast of Bornheim. Like many in the area he has the physical appearance of both dakarians and mladovians - black hair, pale skin, and broad nose. In reality he is a shape-shifted Marlot that, like the rest of his kin, is hiding among the human. There are very few people outside of his kin that know his secret and he will do much to preserve it.

Known in the village for not just his skill, but his wise advice many people turn to his for answers. He is not the village elder nor has he served as reeve or constable. He prefers the simple life of morning, work, and evenings. To anyone's knowledge he has never been married; although several women of the village have attempted to catch his eye at dances. Instead he prefers to take his evening dinner with Adolphus and his family, serving as a “favored uncle” to his friend's children.
