X'letta

X'letta is the oldest spirit on the Flumen dei Animas dating back to the very dawn of humans. It was her husband who defied the natural order and pulled her spirit back from the afterlife. She lives in a house on a pond of enchanted water. A hand-powered mill, powered by the undead body of her husband, moves her water and dumps it into the river - trapping other spirits alongs its meandering route.

X'letta is happy that her husband is with her for she loves him deeply. She is sad because of what he did and still does to other spirits along the river. She tries to help the others, but she cannot leave the pond and no matter how much he works her husband cannot empty the water he drew up.

Her husband, overcome with grief, welcomed any who would help him.

He was answered by Junechi, a demon from the Land of Vines. Junechi promised to bring X'letta back if her husband would world for him. The demon build a hand-powered mill and called forth water beneath their house. X'letta's husband will toil at that mill until the end of time. Should he stop around will suffer the disease. If he should keep moving X'letta will stay with him.
