For many years Tycho Terrante oversaw some of the affairs of the of the Erasmus House in Libero. Skilled in leg-breaking, torturing, mugging, and other necessary skills - Tycho made quite the name for himself among the proper “families” in the city. He rose through the ranks and wed to a proper woman, who gave him three fine children. With the new found status came the dark side of the business. His family was killed in Y437 by a rival within the house. It is the way of things are done, but it left Tycho a shell of himself.

In Y460 AH Tycho was asked to travel to Bornheim and help the family's assets in the city. Cristobal Erasmus was in charge of the family business in the city and he was being young Amer Terrante, son of Ameril and his nephew. The family thought that Amer was too soft for the business and Cristobol needed someone in the city who knew how the business worked.

In Y462 Tycho was captured by the Queen's Watch in Bornheim and kept in the crown dungeons. He admitted to the family's involvement with the vulfgrau_trading_house. He knew nothing of the plot to cause a rebellion, but said it could be the doing of his nephew Amer.
