Nokhask

Nokhask is an orc warleader of the Vernock Tribe. He lead his tribe in a war against the legions of the first Irillian Empire, which saw his entire tribe wiped out after over three years of no-quarter war. Nokhask did not fall in battle, but instead was killed when some Irillian scouts found his encamped and killed everyone.

Nokhask was a fierce warrior who covered his torso in white tattoos said to be gifts from the spirits. He considered himself protected from death and with each battle his legend grew. Even years after his death many orcs refused to believe he was killed. No body was ever found, no head placed on a spike.

History

In xxx AE, Nokhask allied himself with the Indus to drive out the First Irillian Empire. The Irillian legions had drove his people off their lands, burned their house, and destroyed their food stores. Nokhask led his the Vernock to many victories, but in the end his people were destroyed by the Legions of Valparia. The legions offered no quarter or mercy and Nokhask was killed months before the last of his people.
