Markus Liese

Sir Markus Liese held many honors before marrying Lady Liese. His skill with both hammer and lance were highly considered in his youth. He participated in several campaigns against the Mladovians in the Rakarian Valley. He was honored by the Lord Marshall of Bornheim for commanding the foot, after losing his own horse, in the defense of Jortentown. It was nearly a week before additional forces from the city arrived to drive off the orc warband.

A long confirmed bachelor-knight he did not begin courting Lady Liese until meeting her several years after the death of her first husband. Sir Markus had known Lord Liese for many years and served with him on campaign.
