Queen of Ellendar

Endirwen has served as the Queen of Ellendar, since 2600 AM, but she is not royalty in the same meaning as human feudal society. The elves only recognize Ellowyn as their Queen and her court as any semblance of a nobility among them. The Elven Great Houses are a reflection of her court - with all of the intrigue and shifting alliances, as Endirwen is a reflection of Ellowyn. She serves because her house is currently in the ascendency and she was selected by her house for this position.

While all of the duties as royalty as actually handled between various members of the great houses, Endirwen remains the single ruler that is scene by outsiders. This is a tasks that she has come to enjoy over the years as she has seen the rise and fall of lesser people of this world. She is fascinated by the humans and their creation by the magi; although she is less enthralled by the influence the dwarves seem to have over them. For this reason she has become more active in her contacts with the humans in order to steer them back to the path envisioned by their creators.

• Reign: 2600 AM - Present

Until the arrival of the xianese she kept Ellendar closed to the humans that settled around them. She had a policy of vigorously defending their borders, while trying to rebuilding what had been lost. When the Xianese showed their true intention and attacked she was left with no allies willing to help defend her lands.

Eventually she made a terrible deal with the dakarians that gave them most of the northern forest, but in the end enough Dakarian mercenaries and magicians arrived that the Xianese were fought back.

Since the conquest of the Irillians, she has changed her outlook and now pushes hard for the elves to work with the humans in an effort to change their current destructive course. Like many elves she finds the dwarves influence over the humans to be the cause of most of the problems. Most of her polices of engaging with the humans has been fought in her court and the course of Ellendar is still not clear.
