Before he became King Eleleno, he was known as Lord Eleleno the Lion the sixth son of a minor Irillian noble. Far from inheriting any of the family lands, he used his little wealth to form a mercenary company and earn his own fortune. For eight years he was away fighting in the northeastern border towns before returning home with enough coin. However, he discovered that his eldest brother, Titus, had lost the family holdings in a private war with their rightful lord. Enraged, Eleleno gathered up the most loyal family retainers and with his band of mercenaries ventured into the Selcaria wilderness to carve out his own lands.

For fifteen years he built border outposts and pushed back the native Pah tribesmen until they finally agreed to surrender their rights to the land and submit to his rule. That was seven years ago and now Eleleno, the last son of a minor noblemen, sits on the throne of his own nation. While his lands are small the soil is rich and the forests plentiful. Today, King Eleleno has grown stouter about the waist and his mercenaries either drifted away or were granted titles of nobility within the kingdom.

While he was always a stout man, seven years of rule instead of battle has begun to takes its toll upon his body. His hardened muscle has grown soft and middle a bit more stout. Still, there is no denying the strength still remaining in his arms or his skill as a horseman. Still, even a king cannot turn back the rivers of time and so his black hair is mostly silver and bald on the top. His face wrinkled from years on the campaign trail his joints a bit stiff from his numerous battle injuries. While he has had his most severe wounds tended to by clerics and magicians, there is nothing they can do to prevent the march of time.

As King he has a great deal of higher influence over the PCs that are currently in his domain — which is significant because both Sheila and Nevin are his subjects. However, the King has little direct influence over his commoners; instead subjecting their lords to taxes and royal decrees that influence the actions of the local lord. However, that has changed because both of them were made into squires of his realm. Now there is a far more direct connection that most commoners like to feel. Eleleno is a strong king that excercises a great deal of control over his nobles (mostly throughly battle-loyalty) and that goes from the highest Duke to the lowest Knight.
