Crow

Whether the name is true for him or just a title, Crow best depicts the current man that holds this position. He is the spymaster for the court of Ellendar. When he was younger he would often go to other lands and nations doing the bidding of his masters, but now that he is the spymaster Crow rarely gets out. His arrival in Bornheim indicated real trouble was brewing.

As spymaster he is never himself, even when he believes himself alone. Like all such people he tends to be middling height with no distinct features. His skill to blend into a crowd or be forgotten means survival.

Dakarian Insurrection

During the Dakarian Insurrection campaign Crow was stationed in Bornheim believed to be hunting down members of Root who had plagued the Elfenwald. In reality three different seers, each of whom displayed talent, spoke the same exact prophesy. The Bloodstaff would appear once more in the world, but seeks the blood of the west. The Light shall fall, The Nine will appear, The Spider comes, and Madness shall Rule. The Spider's fang can kill all.

Crow deduced that the Bornheim was the blood of the west as the city was nearly directly west of Ulrichstein where the Bloodstaff appears. He knew of Charles, but chose to do nothing about the demon as he stopped the humans from controlled the Rakarian Valley. This prophesy meant that if left unchecked the demon, and its brethren trapped in the prison, would escape and wreck havoc on the world.

From the shadows, and even twice directly, he aided those who stood against Charles.
