Cadmarel

Cadmarel is a patron or intercessor between mortals and Vayne. He is often referred to as the Patron of the Dance or the Laughing Spirit. He typically wears the flowing skirt and long tunic of his people, a brace of javelins on his back and a pair of daggers hanging by cords near his waist. Those who seek him out are those who can feel the ebb and flow of the battle as a noble understands the steps of the dance. With speed and a good eye a skilled warrior can move among the dancers without being touched.

Cadmarel grew up on the rugged canyons and mesas east of the Druyen Highlands. His people were semi-nomadic as they traveled with their herds south in the winter then returning to their homes during the long summers. Cadmarel was an aggressive youth that would often forget what he was supposed to be doing to seek out the unknown. He was considered one of the best javelineers in his tribe with a keen eye and strong arm.

After driving off an goblin raid he retrieved a pair of short blades that were clearly not goblin-made. That one encounter propelled him to one of the best warriors in his tribe. With only the slightest instruction Cadmarel immediately grasped the concept and quickly outpaced the longest-serving warriors. His speed and eye served him well as even the strongest enemies fell before him.

Upon his death a valkyrie of Vayne lifted his spirit up and presented him before the god. Although he had not worshiped Vayne in life he glorified battle and the struggle for survival. Vayne recognized on of his own and entrusted him with guiding the clever and swift among his followers.
