Stonecutter and Spirit Caller

Adolphus has lived in Kernwerk his entire life, rarely even traveling to the city of Bornheim just a few hours down the road. He works as a stonecutter, but far more important to the people of the village is his skill as a Spirit Talker. he has helped the village keep the restless and wild spirits at bay, while encouraging the helpful spirits to bless the land and waters.

The great spiritual darkness that lives in the donjon within Kernwerk is far too strong for Adolphus to banish. He has warned those who enter about the danger, but so few have heeded his warnings.

He guards a spirit stone that was left behind by the Marlot; although he does not know its origins or true purpose. The stone does allow him to enter the spirit world with less effort, but only during the dark hours. Helping him in this task is Yswa a good friend and bachelor who often comes over for dinner and entertains his kids with stories and stone carvings.
