Their bright golden serpent on a red field flapping in the wind has caused men to cheer and evil to turn and flee. For the past 15 years the Golden Serpents have fought evil no matter where it hides. They have treked into the famed Iron Mountains, relived the battered fortress at Skull rock, and were even involved in the Battle of Bloody Pass. Wherever they are, evil has been destroyed or turned back.

There are over 100 members in the company and so only the most important officers are listed below. The company is seperated into two discinct groups: Mounted Infantry and Calvery. The mounted infantry accounts for almost 70% of the company. General Nethan Soulforger

This dwarf is a tough commander and always pushes his command to the very limit. He was one of the founding members of the comapny; although its direction and fame have changed during the years. He rides into combat with his men and is often seen where the fighting is the thickest. He wields either a two-handed mace or two small axes. He wears golden plate armor which shines bright enough to see for miles. He serves as both the inspiration and strenght behind the Golden Serpents. High Priest Ornel

Ornel first convinced Nethan to form the company. He was visited in a dream by Lom saying that evil was rising again and a strong force was needed to stop them. He then visited Nethan and the Golden Serpents were formed. Ornel commands the calvery; although rarely from the front like Nethan. Instead Ornel has proved to be a tatical genius, partially aided by his god. The calvery unit has sometimes had to trek for a week then immediately enter battle. This is a display of the lengths the company will go to for Ornel. Captain Hedrick

Second-in-command under Ornel, the Capt'n leads his men from the front ranks. Several times he has gone down under fire, but each time Ornel has been able to saved this brash young capt'n. His golden yellow hair waves in the wind as he urges the calvery onward into battle. Hedrick joined the group at their first battle at Bloody Pass. Commander Quintano

Not excatly the same as his counterpart in the calvery. The commander fights side-by-side with Nethan in the thickest part of the battle. Quintano is a slightly deformed human that has finally found a place to live. He was born without a right arm and his right leg doesn't bend properly. He straps a shield unto the remains of his right arm and uses a straight-bladed sword in combat. Although his speach is slurred he is well-liked and respected by the men. Sergent Mordrel

Mordrel has served in almost every position within the Golden Serpents. Each time he does something that gets removed from command. Several of his episodes included leaving his command to rescue one of his men, leading a sucide sqaud to break a bottleneck, and starting a barfight that burned down half of the city. He is wild, reckless, and will do almost anything on the spur of the moment. Aside from these bad points he has never asked more of others than he is willing to give. Therefore he has become the leader of the common troopers.
