Circle of the Black Ring

This circle is a completely closed society. Potential members are selected by the current members. Only the most powerful magicians are even considered for membership. Anyone belonging to the circle will have a solid black ring made out of a single piece of onyx. This ring is believe to contain great power.

The circle live in a expansive mansion located somewhere in the Great Desert. It is rumored the building is from before the Cataclysm; although nobody knows for sure.

The goals of the circle are to bring back the powerful magic from the ancient ages. They probably have the largest collection of manuscripts on magic anywhere on the world. Members have traced down the smallest lead in the hope it would reveal a hidden treasure.
