Realm of Winds

The Realm of Winds is one of the closest of the Shadow Planes to the Elemental Realms. The home of the djinn, there is no land aside from dust clouds, no fire except for six small suns, and no water except for rain and mist. There are dangers on this plane in the form of hurricanes and tornadoes that can tear physical objects apart within seconds. These titanic storms bash and fight in the skies filled with lightning and booming thunder.

Djinn

The Djinn are jinn who live in the Realm of Winds. They are the most numerous beings native to this plane and spend their time dancing and flying among the storms and lazy currents. They are some of the easiest creatures to summon to another plane as many travel throughout the Shadow Realms seeking new experiences.

Storm manes

Storm manes are the most violent spirits in this plane. The strongest among them are the great storms that batter the winds. Headstrong and impossible to control these spirits are often depicted as wild mustangs or great birds. Their talons or hooves tearing apart anything they can reach, including each other. They despise anything not of the winds and barely tolerate those of the wind.

yebhithi

The smallest of the spirits, the yebhithi are little more that small bits of lacy feathers that flow among the currents of the realm. Although they appear very delicate as they bend and twist in the winds, they are not destroyed by even the strongest storms. The fury of the greatest storm can do no more than shove and twist them, but cannot grasp or tear them. These are the most ancient of the spirits, closest to the eldar. Their knowledge is beyond comprehension to any mortal, but it would be nearly impossible to understand their meaning.
