A Patron, also called an intercessor or benefactor, is a mortal that has been chosen by an outsider to enact their will upon the world. The most common patrons are those who served the gods or devils. These patrons allows the gods and devils to extend a very small measure of their power into the world without destroying it and themselves. It is through patrons that these beings receive a measure of the spiritual power of their worshipers.
