Everdark

The Everdark is one of the three planes that comprise the Land of Clouds, the other being the Terura Ciklono. It is from this plane that the darkness rose up to stop the void in the Land of Clouds from consuming everything.

When the darkness was accidentally pulled into the mortal plane by Aesir fragments of the Everdark were pulled in as well. They were drawn to the dark places where the veil between Miranda and the Shadow Realms is the thinnest. It changes the world around it, warping it to match its own nature. The fragments of the Everdark are not alive, but it does grow by making that around into the Everdark.

None of these fragments has grown large enough to tear a rift between the mortal plane and the true Everdark.

One of these fragments is in the caves and tunnels beneath the city of Fountainhead. X'toltn has settled around this fragment and except for a time when he was imprisoned by Aegrin he has nurtured this fragment for as long as humankind has existed in this land.
