Demigods

In the world of Miranda a demigod is a mortal who as gained a spark of Primal Power. This power can come from either the Divine Realms or the Infernal Realms, but it confers upon the mortal tremendous power. However small the power, a mortal spirit can only contain it for a short time before being extinguished. When the mortal dies its spiritual power merges with the primal power as they ascend from the Mortal Plane.

What and who they were in life will reflect upon the type of being they will be when they ascend. As with other outsiders they are always true reflection of themselves, no longer having the free will of a mortal.
