Gray Viper

The Gray Viper is a pit viper found only in the Dread Forest, there is no recognized sub-species.

Adults usually grow between 91–152 cm (36–60 in) in length and weigh between 500 and 1,500 g (1.1 and 3.3 lb)

Gray Vipers are temperate snakes; although only exist in the Dread Forest naturally. Several isolated snakes exist in other forests as merchants often capture these dangerous snakes to sell in markets. Females prefer to bask in the sun on the rocks along the shoreline, while males partially bury themselves in the forest floor. During the winter gray vipers hibernate in dens several feet below the surface.

The preferred prey of the gray viper are small mammals, frogs, and small birds.

One of these most venomous member of the pit viper family and one of the most deadly snake in Miran. Its long fangs, aggressive nature, and venom yield make this snake dangerous even to large animals like horses.
