Orc Holdings in the Western Realms

The central fortress and where the High Lord rules the Blackblood. It’s the size of Southern Cross, but instead of containing a large central market, it has additional barracks and training grounds. It is here that the elite Red Blades train and barrack - they remain the most loyal bodyguards of the High Lord. The best description comes from a dwarven scout that penetrated deep into their interior, “It’s most resembles a deadly nightmare of iron and stone.”

The Blackfist tribe is the largest orc tribe found in the Iron Mountains and controls the land generally referred to as the Blackblood.

This is the most northern border fort and is expected to bear the brunt on any attack from Goth. Because of this most of the soldiers stationed here for more than one year are veterans before their year is up. The Goth are masters at moving during the deepest snow and prefer to attack during the heaviest snowstorms. To date this fortress has never fallen, but the Goth had breached the walls several times.

This fortress is located on the point where Blackblood touches both Kranydria and Dakar. This is one of the largest border forts and is responsible for all the trade that passes between these three nations. Any travelers that wish to enter Blackblood for whatever reason must stop at get their traveling tokens from Southern Cross. Anyone caught without their tokens are subject to fines or death, depending on who discovers them.
