+This east-west pass is the largest and most traveled pass over the mountains. Except for the high summer travel along the pass can be treacherous due to rains, rock slides, snow, and occasionally a monster from the wilds. The [[atlas:Kingdom of Dakar]] maintains [[atlas:Raut Keep]] atop the pass to protect the merchants who use the road.
