Elfamežs

The Elfamežs is a large forest that sits along the border between Goth and Brundswag. Several elven villages are in the forest, resisting any attempt by their neighbors to claim the land for themselves. It is an old growth forest and home to the shaggy bison, the heaviest land animal north of the Iron Mountains.

  • Area: 3,500 km2 (1,350 sq. mi)
  • The Queens Chamber. This large oak measures greater than 700 cm (275 in) in circumference. It is considered the thickest oak in the forest. It is named for a large hollowing midway up the trunk. The cause of the split and merge of several branches is unknown, but it is often decorated as a throne during festivals.
  • Cask Oak. Although it has a circumference of 650 cm (258 in) the tree has been “dead” or “dying” for as long as any elf can remember. There have not been any new branches or buds, but it is still alive. It is believed to be over seven hundred (700) years old.
