Continents

While there are thousands of islands, some of them quite large, scholars generally call only the 5 largest inhabited landmasses on Miranda continents.

Al'Ranur is not only smallest continent on Miranda, but could also be considered the largest island with just under eight million square kilometers (8,000,000 km²) of land. Located along the equator, this tropical continent has a rich and diverse coastline with a mountainous arid interior. While there are thousands of small island outside of the reef shoals only three are large enough to support thousands of people (Merbaro, Iherir, and An Qantari).

Aquanius is the only continent in Miranda that is located both in the northern and southern hemispheres. It is just south of Miran and separated by the Serpente Sea.

Weather continent

A land at the very southern tip of the world, Freija is forever locked in ice and snow miles deep. Large trackless plains broken by mountains that dwarf all but the giants of this world. Underground water flows drain into deep lakes kept unfrozen by large vents at their bottom the spew hot gas and liquid rock from the core of the world. Even the vegetation that clings to the barren rock or digs itself deep into the lands bones seems blighted by the land. Even the sun forsakes Freija for long periods of time.

Miran is a large continent that shares a continental shelf with Aquanius.
