Bahir Ridge

The Bahir Ridge is a mountain range in the Abjurer Mountains, which runs along the eastern coast of Aquanius. Anchored by the Wendersdat Volcano the mountain range travels generally in a southwesterly direction although it hooks to the east near its most southern tip.

At one time this range was home to Blackfist Hold, a dwarven clanhold, and more recently Morning Calm, a now abandoned jundari eyrie.

The mountain range is made up of sedimentary rocks deeply carved by the past volcanic eruptions and layered with volcanic rock. There are good veins of iron, copper, gold, silver, and quartz found under the mountains which has drawn many people to this range in search of mineral wealth.

Wendersdat is a complex stratovolcano with a active history of small eruptions and tectonic activity. There have been two massive eruptions; although the second one took place during the Brothers War when Earthmother unleashed the volcano's fury on the dwarves of Blackfist Hold.
