The Red Plague is a highly virulent airborne disease that causes the skin to redden and form blisters. A single case of this plague is enough to get an entire village quarantined or in some cases burned. The plague follows a pattern of laying dormant for many years then rapidly spreading. Those who are carriers of the plague often show no signs and in fact are immune to the effects of the plague. Those showing signs of the plague typically die within a few weeks.
