====== Wracwulf Stoyan ======

Duke **Wracwulf Stoyan** of [[atlas:Red Heights]] is the third of his title. He inherited the title from his father and grandfather before him. Although his lands reside in the more settled eastern section of the [[atlas:Kingdom of Dakar]], its position as the most northeastern [[wp>duchy]] pushes it up against both the [[atlas:Iron Mountains]] and the highlands of [[atlas:Krandryia]]. 

Although long in his years, the Duke of Red Heights is still able to ride a horse and participate in the occasional boar hunt. He no longer leads his soldiers in battle, leaving that to his sons, but he still keeps his arms and armor well-maintained. Should the need arise he would once again mount the saddle and sally forth to battle the enemies of the crown as his loyalties lie with the crown and gods, in that order, above all else.

In Y433 AH [[people:Marjorie Kuhn|Majorie Mulcalf]], daughter of his [[wp>vassal]], came to his court to serve as a handmaiden for his new wife. Three years later he married her off to Sir [[people:Tobias Kuhn]], a knight in his court. It was the Duke's petition that convinced the crown to grant Sir Kuhn the [[atlas:Barony of Ulrichstein]].

In Y444 AH his eldest daughter, Adal, was married to Count [[people:Garrick of Wellspring]] whose family has long been a vassal to the Stoyan. As a bridal gift he granted Count Garrick the rights to Irongard Keep and its surrounding lands.

In Y447 AH Irmigard, his second daughter, married Sir Jansen, a dashing young knight of his court. The Duke granted his daughter the keep at Dundurall and its surrounding lands, including the nearby quarry.

In Y461 Claudine his first daughter by his second wife married Lord Falk, eldest son of Count Rainart of [[atlas:Rhineqest]] and current Lord of Sensridge. As a bridal gift Duke Stoyan provided Count Rainart enough marble from his quarries to completely rebuild Rhinequest's temple that burned down the previous year.
