**Verulo** is a Master Quarryman who is the foreman at the eighty kilometers (50 miles) northeast of [[atlas:Fountainhead]]. He is a rough workman who runs his men ragged, but himself to equal degree. He is down in the pit every day fixing something, correcting something, or sometimes just doing the work himself. He believes in hard labor makes for a fair man. His family life is run the same way.

During the [[campaigns:Fountainhead]] arc of the [[campaigns:Legacy of Marak]] campaign [[people:Lasso]] was holding on to some work done for Verulo saying he had not been paid - even though Verulo already paid his wife. [[people:Lady Anne Mowbry]] successfully negotiated a settlement of the cost, including using her own purse to pay Lasso for the work. Lasso then released three wagons of quarry tools.
