====== Kaito ======

**Kaito** was born Lumin Retalius Selcarian, named after a great-grandfather who distinguished himself in the [[orgs:I Selcarian Legion]]. He has turned aside that life, taking the name of a man he killed in a small town of [[atlas:Theodova]]. After surviving for several years as a mercenary working for anybody with coin in the [[atlas:Free Cities]] Kaito had amassed a small mercenary company.

The company gained the moniker [[orgs:Bloodletters]] for their brutality and ruthlessness. For the right amount of coin any job could be purchased. Kaito had a flair for finding the desperate willing to risk anything. Rumors have started several times that he or his men are adherents of [[lore:Danshi]], but nothing has been proven.

In Y459 he accepted five times his normal pay by [[people:Charles]] to secure the lands around [[atlas:Tminir Tower]]. Kaito's second-in-command, [[people:Jiron]], commands these men while Kaito waits in [[atlas:Ulrichstein]] with a few hand-picked men.
