**Daughter of Baron Lange, Lord Marshall of Bornheim**

Ilse is the last child of Baron [[people:Donat Lange]] and has become to be doted upon by both her parents. Once born she was anointed into the [[orgs:temple_of_light]] and by the [[lore:Karashian]] priests of the [[atlas:Temple of Luminous Kaskade]]. The Karashians were so overcome by the blessing of [[lore:Karash]] upon the infant that their next ship was christened in her name.

There seems to be some connections between her and the [[lore:Soul Metal]]. The Incar cannot explain their interest, nor can [[people:Brizanthimus]] or Ilse. All parties have kept this a secret from all others.

The last daughter of Lady Karolin and Baron Lange, Ilse grew up in the West Sun Palace in the city of [[atlas:Bornheim]]. For most of her childhood [[people:Gloria Hölzer]] was her handmaiden. Although Gloria was both a [[orgs:mladovians]] and commoner she was highly recommended for the job. What nobody knew was that Gloria had sold her soul to [[people:Charles]] for reasons of her own. Ilse was used to coerce and harm [[people:Brizanthimus]] into Charles' plans.
