====== Well of Life ======

The Well of Life is a [[lore:plane#demiplane]] that is found in the [[lore:Mortal Plane]]. The well was created by [[people:Ellowyn]] and connects the Mortal Plane to the [[lore:Fae Lands]]. It was from this source that Ellowyn created the bodies of the [[creatures:elf|elves]] - part mortal and part fae. The well was poisoned when [[people:Aelon]] mortally wounded himself and jumped into the well. Ellowyn is unable to purity the well nor does she still have the power to craft a new well. Instead, she stands as caretaker over the well to ensure that it cannot harm the world or her children.


===== Mortal Beings =====

Some scholars believe that the corrupted well gave birth to the first mortal beings as they are ruled by darker emotions, but can command the power of the [[lore:Shadow Realms]].
