====== Storm Surge ======

**Storm Surge** is a sword blessed by [[lore:Karash]] and the most holy artifact kept within the [[atlas:Temple of Luminous Kaskade]] in the city of [[atlas:Bornheim]]. Karash is the patron god of the city and has long favored its people with his bounty. Storm Surge serves as a reminder of the temple's authority.

The sword is a straight double-edged weapon with a single-handed cruciform hilt. The blade is 80 cm (31.5 in) in length with parallel edges that taper to a point. A deep fuller starts from the hilt and runs two-thirds (2/3) of its length. The pommel is a large disk with a pearl inset in the middle. The blade is heavily decorated with the phrase, "In thine name judge" inscribed.

The sword was carried by Father [[people:Jana]] when he traveled with Father [[people:Ernst]] to slay [[people:Ephesus]], the Master of [[atlas:Tminir Tower]]. Father Ernst was killed and [[people:Rakul Shaleem]] stole the blade.
