====== Shadow Planes ======

The **Shadow Planes** are those planes that exist within the [[lore:Shadow Realms]]. As the [[lore:Divine Realms]] and [[lore:Infernal Realms]], the Shadow Realms is split into multiple planes of reality. The nature of the Shadows Realms is such that scholars refer to the darkness of a known plane in relation to its connections with the [[lore:Mortal Plane]]. Scholars speak of the world as the sun spreading its light through the Shadow Realms. The farther a plane is from the existence of the world, the more covered in shadow and unlike the world. The closer a plane is to the world the more its people and lands resemble the world.

===== Travel =====

Mortals can travel to the Shadow Planes easier than passing into the Divine or Infernal planes, where they become and outsider. Mortals within the Shadow Realms only need to adapt to the physical, not spiritual, differences of the world. They can also enter most of the planes of the Shadow Realms with their physical body. Should they attempt to do the same in the Divine or Infernal planes their body would quickly succumb unless they prepared it.


===== Fae Lands =====

The [[lore:Fae Lands]] is the closest known plane to the Mortal Plane. Its land and inhabitants often seen as little more than caricatures and shadows cast by people. These are the lands of the [[lore:Seelie]] and [[lore:Unseelie]], representing the dual nature of people.
