====== Mokele ======

**A blazing light that circles the world**

Mokele is a large lion with a mane of brilliant gold. When [[lore:Yolamba]] sinned against [[lore:Zarn]] he did not beget his proud bearing, instead hiding high in the heavens in the sea of stars where none could find him. So angered was Zarn at the cowardice of Mokele that he forever banished him to circle the world, but never again free to roam its land.

Mokele will forever serve the [[orgs:ikanbo_people]], but his touch can be fickle for the foolish. He seeks to punish the people whose lands flourish under his work. He denies the true touch of his warmth in those lands where the punishment of [[lore:Ley]] is very close. The true followers of Zarn have no need to fear the touch of Mokele for he cannot harm them.
